Fans of comics, games and community fun can flock to the Moriarty Mini Comic Convention on Saturday, Aug. 3, as the event returns for its seventh year.
Hosted by the Friends of the Moriarty Community Library, the family-friendly convention is set to transform the library grounds into a colorful celebration of pop culture.
Admission is free for children 12 and under, and just $5 for those 13 and up. All proceeds benefit the Moriarty Community Library, helping to fund new books, materials and programs.
According to the library, the event has grown into a tradition for families and fans alike and is a fun way to support the library while bringing people together around art, stories, and creativity.
Attendees can expect a lineup of vendors, live shows, music, games and painting activities.
The event will take place at the Moriarty Community Library. Organizers encourage attendees to come in costume.
